Delaware Cobras Host Denny Tincher Pitching Clinic

Dates: Friday November 2nd * Saturday November 3rd * Sunday November 3rd
Location: Red Lion Christian Academy. 1390 Red Lion Road. Bear, Delaware 19701
Due to the enormous number of requests for time, we are combining sessions to allow pitchers with
common interests time to work together. Here are the types of lessons that will be offered.

Introduction to Fluid Dynamic
Denny has designed this special course to take you and your pitcher through the process. It begins with a basic understanding of female biomechanics and how their bodies work differently from men in generating and transferring power to the ball. We will help you understand the form, learn drills to help progress through different stages, and help find ways to take advantage of your daughter’s particular strengths, as well as effective ways  to overcome problems.

Most of all, it will help you understand how to keep it fun with your daughter with a form that is female friendly and greatly reduces injury risks. The program will be conducted by Denny and another member of the Tincher Pitching staff.

This two hour course and will be limited to six pitchers to allow plenty of one-on time. Bring a catcher. We require this course before students can begin individual lessons with us.

The cost will be $70 per pitcher. Parents are encouraged to take notes and get involved in helping your daughter learn to approach pitching in a new way, a way we call Fluid Dynamics.

Semi- Private Instruction
This is a one-hour course and will be limited to two pitchers to allow plenty of one-on time. The program will be conducted by Denny and another member of the Tincher Pitching staff. Bring a catcher.

The cost will be $80 per pitcher.

To register for a lesson please email or call Nicole Thomas.

DELAWARE COBRAS WIN 5TH AT 2010 NSA WORLD SERIES IN ROCK HILL, SC

The  Cobras traveled to Rock Hill, SC for the 2010 NSA World Series last week.  Beginning on Monday the Cobras came out strong winning both of the pool play games.  Wednesday entering into bracket play while enduring heat delays and thunderstorms the Cobras lost  a game and entered into the loosers bracket.  Thursday the Cobras showed up and won the first 2 games of the day. During the 3rd game of the day and going into the 7th inning with two outs, our girls  rallied and came from behind to win again.  Game 4 wasnt looking good with 3 runs down, but once again in the 7th inning with 2 outs and Lexi  and Cambria on base, Jordan blasted the ball to right feild, followed by Michele, Kenya and Lauren our Cobra girls showed what big hearts they had and came from behind to win once again. Unfortunately, the 5th game of the day against Matoon Pride (in their 2nd game of the day) the Cobra girls gave all they had, but it just wasnt enough.  Our team  took home 5th place.  Special thanks to our aquatic engineer, Jay, for keeping the girls hydrated in the excessive heat. Thank you to coaches Joe, Rick and Michele for keeping the girls motivated  and for all you do during the season. Last, but not least, thank you to all the Cobra families , without whom this great season wouldnt be complete !!!!    DELAWARE COBRAS ROCK  !!!!
