\u00a0<\/span><\/span>The\u00a0 Cobras traveled\u00a0to\u00a0Rock Hill, SC\u00a0for the 2010 NSA World Series last week.\u00a0 Beginning on Monday the Cobras came out strong winning both of the pool play games.\u00a0 Wednesday entering into bracket play while enduring heat delays and thunderstorms the Cobras lost\u00a0 a game and entered into the loosers bracket.\u00a0 Thursday the Cobras showed up and won the first 2 games of the day. During the 3rd game of the day and going into the 7th inning with two outs, our girls\u00a0 rallied and came from behind to win again.\u00a0 Game 4 wasnt looking good with 3 runs down, but once again in the 7th inning with 2 outs and Lexi\u00a0 and Cambria on base, Jordan blasted the ball to right feild, followed by Michele, Kenya and Lauren our Cobra girls showed what big hearts they had and came from behind to win once again. Unfortunately, the 5th game of the day against Matoon Pride (in their 2nd game of the day) the Cobra girls gave all they had, but it just wasnt enough.\u00a0 Our team\u00a0 took home 5th place.\u00a0 Special thanks to our aquatic engineer, Jay, for keeping the girls hydrated in the excessive heat. Thank you to coaches Joe, Rick and Michele for keeping the girls motivated\u00a0 and for all you do during the season. Last, but not least, thank you to all the Cobra families , without whom this great season wouldnt be complete !!!!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 DELAWARE COBRAS ROCK\u00a0 !!!!
